Practices will begin on August 1st from 5pm-7pm. Practices run Mon-Thurs from 5pm-7pm. When school starts practices run Mon-Tues-Thurs from 5pm-7pm. Practices are held at Riverside Middle School.
We will be using the system of the first 30 players that are paid will be able to play. If you are unable to pay, your name will be the first on the waiting list. We strive to have 2 teams per grade. The cost will be $150 for the registration fee and must be paid for your son to be on the playing list. There will be another $100 fee for your volunteer time. This fee is due before or the day of equipment hand out. You are able to make installments on the volunteer fee as long as it is paid in full by hand out day. After you have completed your 5 hours of volunteer time during the season your $100 will be issued back to you during the year end party. You have the option for the $100 opt out for the volunteer hours. There are many opportunities to volunteer during our season, and we will be handing out the forms for where help is needed before the season begins. All forms will be due and also sports physicals before your son can be issued his equipment. Remember physicals are good for 2 years. So if he had one last year he is good for this year. If not get an appt right away. Watertown Youth Football is a not for profit organization with all volunteer members. We require each family to volunteer. We are not affiliated with the Watertown Park & Rec Department or the Watertown Unified School District. We do work with the high school varsity program to better prepare our players for an easier transition to freshman football. Any questions or concerns please contact an officer of WYF at the resources below. All forms are on our website at: www.watertownyouthfootball.org. We keep that website updated frequently so always check for any and all information.
